Our story began during the onset of COVID-19, when, like many others, we lost our jobs. We stumbled upon Summit Pointe, a brand-new up-and-coming town center in Chesapeake, and were approached by clients who wanted us to be a part of it. Despite having no money or business knowledge, we seized the opportunity. Along the way, we received valuable knowledge and poured our hearts into everything we did. Our mission has been to break barriers in the hair industry, which is still deeply divided among gender, race, sexuality, and neurology. Since opening our doors, we have strived to create the most inclusive barber shop in Hampton Roads. Our wonderful clientele has helped us achieve our dreams in this regard. Initially, we focused on the hockey community, providing haircuts for the Norfolk Admirals. As we grew, we decided to invest any extra resources and time in community involvement. We currently serve as ambassadors on the CHKD mental health board. With an emphasis on autism holding a special place in our hearts, Amanda has been appointed to the Autism Society of Tidewater board, aiming to connect both causes. We are proud to be multi-year winners of the COVA overall GOLD award for hair care (men’s and women’s). Our commitment is to continue striving to be the best for our loyal clients, delivering exceptional experiences through our positive vibes, community outreach, and ongoing education in hair care.
